My Bio

My Why

Public parks and community spaces are the living rooms of our neighborhoods—places where children play, families gather, and neighbors build connection. Every resident in District 2 deserves access to outdoor recreation spaces that are clean, safe, well-maintained, and welcoming. As a lifelong East Bay resident, law student, and policy analyst, I am running for the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District (H.A.R.D.) Board to bring fresh energy, analytical rigor, and direct community input to local park management. My campaign is rooted in practical, community-focused solutions designed to ensure our district resources are managed transparently and equitably.

Growing up in the East Bay, our local parks were where we built community, shared celebrations, and spent time outdoors. But as I walk through our parks in District 2 today, I hear the same clear message from neighbors across Hayward: our parks need better maintenance, clearer safety measures, and real transparency in how local decisions are made.

The breaking point isn't a single event—it’s the accumulation of overlooked maintenance, safety concerns left unaddressed, and residents feeling unheard when decisions are made about the public spaces right outside their front doors. I’m running for the H.A.R.D. Board because our community deserves clean, accessible, and safe parks for every generation to enjoy. I bring the perspective of a lifelong resident, the rigor of a law student and analyst, and a commitment to putting neighborhood voices first.
